These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Dimodoro (the "App" or the "Service"). Dimodoro is provided by Ikuya Fujisaki (藤崎郁也) (the "Operator"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Operator

2. About the App

The App provides screen dimming (overlay) and related features (e.g., presets, timers). Features may change over time.

3. Eligibility and Compliance

You must comply with these Terms and applicable laws when using the App.

4. Accounts

Some features (e.g., Plus, cloud backup/restore, reward verification) may require authentication (such as linking a Google account). If authentication is unavailable, those features may not work.

5. Paid Features (Dimodoro Plus)

5.1 Subscriptions

  • Plus may be offered via a subscription through Google Play.
  • Billing, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are generally handled by Google Play and subject to Google Play policies.
  • Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled (see Google Play subscription management UI).
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Google Play account subscription settings.

5.2 Pricing and Availability

Pricing, benefits, trials, and promotions are shown in the App and on the relevant Google Play listing and may change.

5.3 Refunds

Refund eligibility and process are governed by Google Play policies and applicable law.

6. Rewards (Temporary Access via Ads)

The App may offer temporary access to certain features after you watch rewarded ads.

  • Time limits, daily limits, and eligibility rules may apply.
  • You must not exploit, bypass, or tamper with verification, integrity checks, or reward mechanisms.
  • We may revoke rewards if abuse or fraud is suspected.

7. Ads

The App may display ads on the free tier. Ad behavior can vary by plan, region, and consent status.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Violate laws or public order
  • Interfere with or abuse the App or related systems (auth, billing, verification, ads, consent flows)
  • Obtain rewards or paid access fraudulently, or bypass integrity checks
  • Reverse engineer, modify, or create derivative works of the App except where permitted by law
  • Infringe others' rights (IP, privacy, etc.)
  • Engage in any other conduct we deem harmful or inappropriate

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the App belong to the Operator or rightful owners.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • The App is provided "as is" without warranties, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for damages arising from your use of the App.
  • Some features depend on device settings and permissions (overlay, accessibility, etc.) and may not work as expected on all devices.

11. Changes and Termination

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App (in whole or part). We will provide notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • Governing law: the laws of Japan
  • Exclusive jurisdiction: the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance
